I agree although there is a balance to be had. You don’t need to pile on fat needlessly but you don’t need to scrimp on it either. I have a feeling that there are a large number of people who are talking about the same sort of level of intake of fat but have a distorted view of what other people’s “high fat” is. I feel like maybe we need to answer a short questionnaire to gauge what someone’s context is before arguing about how much fat is a good thing! There is a part of me that bristles when people start saying that others eat too much fat but then there is a part that agrees if the “too much” is what I consider to be too much. But my acceptable level might be someone else’s idea of too much and on it goes. It’s a bit of a minefield really but there is certainly a camp out there that thinks eating to a very high set goal s a good thing just as there is a camp that is determined to stick to low fat. I prefer to stay somewhere safely in the middle even if I have to pick splinters out of my bum from sitting on the fence
