Daisy’s latest extraordinary woman, Amy, dispels a few keto myths and shares some of her wisdom to help those who are new to keto find their way through the sometimes overwhelming amount of information there is online.

Amy Berger, MS, CNS, NTP, is a USAF veteran, Certified Nutrition Specialist and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who specializes in using low-carbohydrate nutrition to help people reclaim their vitality through eating delicious foods. She loves showing people that getting and staying well doesn’t require starvation, deprivation, or living at the gym. Her motto is, “Real people need real food!” She blogs at www.tuitnutrition.com, where she writes about a wide range of health and nutrition-related topics, such as insulin, metabolism, weight loss, thyroid function, and more.

She is the author of The Alzheimer’s Antidote: Using a Low-Carb, High-Fat Diet to Fight Alzheimer’s Disease, Memory Loss, and Cognitive Decline.

The articles we talked about in the show:-

  • Ketogenesis, Measuring Ketones, and Burning Fat vs Being in Ketosis
  • Cheat Meals on Keto or Low Carb: A New Perspective

This week’s end quote is from Sandra Luchsinger

When you start to panic because Brussel sprouts are so amazing, you can’t stop eating them and then you remember, it used to be Oreos.

Progress not perfection!

Keto life!
